West with Giraffes by Lynda R. Stephenson

My mom recommended this book, and it was nice to read something she'd enjoyed <3

A bittersweet book that has now given me anxiety about the well-being of the giraffe population — which I suppose proves it accomplished it's goal. I found the details about the dust bowl particularly interesting, but thought the author tied some endings up too neatly.
