“The Ten Thousand Doors of January,” by Alix E. Harrow

I can't recommend this book enough. It was calming and exciting at the same time. It felt nostalgic, even though I'd read nothing like it. And the love story! I'm not writing a good review because there’s too much to talk about. It’s basically a penny adventure novel turned to poetry.
