“The Overstory,” by Richard Powers

I didn't finish this book. That reflects on me, not the book. I agreed to be a beta reader and joined one too many book clubs — so I have deadlines yet to keep. And miles to go before I sleep.

It taught me about chestnuts, and the single story of the chestnut was worth the investment.

However, it was a little slow. Does that make sense thematically? Yes. Is it an obstacle? Also, yes. I made it halfway and intend to finish someday.
