The Thousand Crimes of Ming Tsu by Tom Lin

Extremely cinematic! It would make a fantastic TV show.

The characters were amazing, but if I have one complaint, it's that they felt underutilized. I loved the circus performances and the fantasy elements, but I wanted more. I also loved Ming’s backstory, but wanted to know more about his time building the railroad.
