“Superman Smashes the Klan,” by Gene Luen Yang, art by Gurihiru

This book delivers exactly what it promises — it's impressively clever and sweet considering the weight of the topic.

I particularly loved the written history included at the end of the book. Among other things, it talked about the impact of the first time Superman fought the Klan — on The Adventures of Superman radio show, all the way back in the '30s and ‘40s.
